As happens when you wait over a month between posts, there is a lot to catch up on and I’m hoping to break it into smaller chunks to tell the whole story.

TL;DR – We made it to Colorado. I am employed out here. We do not have our own place out here but we are renting from a friend and are constantly reminded of our blessings.

Where to start?

The interview went well and after almost 5 years at my last gig I said farewell. I worked with a stunning group of talented individuals and set out on a path for the unknown. Being my second official set of interviews for a job, it was an interesting exercise in faith and trying. I am becoming more comfortable with the process.

After saying farewell we hit the road and drove cross-country. In 4.5 days we made it to Colorado. We stayed with one set of friends while we worked out plans to stay longer term with another friend.

So far things are going well. When I look carefully I see providence ALL over our situation and where we’ve ended up. I hope to have more to discuss by the end of next week as far as houses and housing go. It is quite a story and I hope to tell it once it has a nice bow around it. (And that won’t even include finding a new place out here.)

If you’ve stumbled onto this site or if you are someone we know who is following along, hello! Please know that we are sharing this information here for us AND you. We want to be the people that try new things and fail. And we want to share that with the world so that others have freedom. We hope that this site develops into that best case scenario.

Peace and love.
