Are you a man?
Can you no longer sire offspring due to voluntary choices?
Does your day consist of sitting around and not doing much of anything?
If so, I am about to join you!
In about 5 minutes I am off for a snip-snip procedure. The big V. A stud, no longer, shall I be.
I want to document today (well, all life, really) because this is (hopefully) a once in a lifetime event. And I want to remember what I think and go through. There are various pharmaceuticals involved and I’m interested to see how they affect what I think/say/do.
Also, it’s snowing!
Updates coming once I’m back home.

I’m alive! Things went well. Dr. Luke was great. Almost too chill. And being on Valium just felt like being light-headed.
So far I feel no pain (thanks lidocaine and hydrocodone!) and I am sitting on the couch with my ice regimen. 20 mins on, 40 mins off, for the next 48 hours. Obvs I’m not going to maintain that while I’m sleeping.
12 weeks from now I will need to deliver a specimen (so clinical!) to have it analyzed. And then a second load (couldn’t help myself!) will need to be dropped off 4 weeks later. So mid-May we should be in the clear.
Also, it is sunny now. This area is amazing. So much love for Broomfield.
And now, time to take it easy.
Doctor’s orders.
