February 3
- $10 Sweater, yellow and cabled
- Sodastream
- The laughter of young friends
Let’s talk about that sweater. I rarely buy clothes. Not because I don’t like them, but it seems there are always better routes in which to direct funds. So I keep my eye out for deals and such but I tend to be too impatient.
I recently came into possession of a sweater that, new, was marked down to $10. And it is yellow. And it is cabled. And if I had remembered to take a picture of it before writing this, I would put the picture somewhere around here. But it is exactly the style I was looking for. And it was not cost-prohibitive at this moment in time. Small things.
Carbonation
Whenever the study eventually comes out that carbonated water is as bad for you as coffee, alcohol, cigarettes, cocaine, long-distance runs, sky-diving, etc., then I will likely be an avid reader. Something about the way the bubbles on the tongue work is divine.
And we have an interesting phrase for it in our house. We first got a sodastream when the girls were little. They wanted to try some and I wasn’t sure how to best describe how it was not like regular water. So I called it “spicy” water. That seemed to get through. They were cautious on first sip and then were delighted. Which I totally get.
So, ya, spicy water. Going to go get some now.
Day 3, in the books!
